Chiara Sauvage started one-on-one online art workshops with The Roaming Studio when she was 15 years old.  A true Rennaissance teen, she was practicing - and excelling in - sports, higher math, speech and debate, the cello and drawing.  As you can imagine, a full schedule with all those activities made it nearly impossible to find time to fit in an art class.  Chiara, a night person, pigeon-holed Sunday night at 9 p.m. as her choice art time.  That was two years ago, and she's been taking lessons on Sunday nights ever since.

"The nice thing about The Roaming Studio is I can schedule classes when I want, and reschedule them if something comes up," she says.  "I take them at home, in my room.  It's awesome!"

Chiara came to The Roaming Studio with solid drawing skills, but needed help transferring those to using colour and painting.  You'll see by her slideshow that she's definitely learning to master the paintbrush, particularly in the Warhol-inspired portraits of her family.
